Mike

From a young age I have always enjoyed cooking and decided to train to be a Chef at Bournemouth & Poole College. Whilst I was there I worked at The Chewton Glen Hotel, The Dormy Hotel and a work placement in a 2 Michelin Star Resturant in France. 

 

After leaving college I worked at The Coventry Arms in Corfe Mullen where I was entered for young chef of the year and pleased to say I got through to the final! After 2 years I moved to The Museum, Farnham where I cooked on a regular basis for the likes of Jamie Oliver, Madonna and Guy Richie.

 

Two years later it was time to make the move to London to fulfil my dream working at the York and Albany under Gordon Ramsey and working alongside Angela Hartnett. I then got offered a very exciting opportunity working with another celebrity chef Paul Merrett at his gastro pub The Victoria, London.

 

After 3 years I was offered an opportunity in my home town of Dorset that I could not turn down to be Sous Chef at a new resturant The Tickled Pig, Wimborne. Where I would be responsable for the menu which changed on a daily basis and worked to source fresh ingredients from local suppliers and the Tickled Pig Garden!

 

I am now very excited and looking forward to welcoming you to my new venture 'Mike's Supper Club'. Where I can showcase my passion for good local food with a resturant quality experience in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
